Bailey is one of our first jack russells. He is not considered correct by the breed standard but his temperament makes up for the cosmetic flaws! He is like the babysitter of the kennel. I can trust him with kids and little puppies alike. He is actually loves to show off and enjoys wearing clothes. My neice would dress him as a baby and push him in the stroller. People would be amazed that he would wear everything from a diaper to a bonnet. While this is NOT TYPICAL for a JR we feel lucky. Even now at age 13 he is still a character and although a little slower he manages to show off! He suffers from senior moments and forgets which door he came out so he goes to the opposite one! LOL! We joke that we spend the day opening the door for him and racing him to the other back door to let him in. Senility isn't easy but he's taking it in stride! Bailey was put to sleep on 10/12/04 in my arms. He is sorely missed in our household.
